Based on the true story of her grandparents, it is a wonderful tribute to the author’s family and a testament to the power of true love and the strength of family.

I would love to see a sequel to this story, to see how the young family fared during the post war years.

I highly recommend this beautiful, lyrical, thought-provoking story.
