Turns out it was standard operating procedure


When my marriage ended with little reason or warning in 2020, nothing about the breakup seemed to make sense. When I recently discovered Vikki Stark's bestselling book, Runaway Husbands: The Abandoned Wife's Guide to Recovery and Renewal, I learned that I was far from being alone, and that men ending their marriages in the most quick and brutal way is standard practice.
